"Paws in the Park" Picnic, Alumni Reunion and Dog Walk at Independence Oaks County Park, 9501 Sashabaw Rd, ClarkstonCome see us on Sunday, August 22nd at the "Paws in the Park" Picnic and Dog Walk from noon to 4 p.m.. Enjoy a picnic lunch, vendor area, face painting, hair wrapping/braiding, chair massage, raffles and more! Microchipping and nail clipping available. Dogs will love bobbing for milkbones, paw art, massage, games, contests and more. $10 per person, kids ages 12 and under are free and dogs are free. The park charges $5 per car, which participants will pay at the gate. The dog walk is on a paved trail through the woods and is roughly a half-mile in distance. Near our shelter is a kids' playground, horseshoe pit, croquet and paddleboat/canoe rental. If you'd like to sign-up to participate as a dog walker, a vendor or a sponsor, please email cassie@pawsforliferescue.org. Please join us for a day of fun and find your new best friend.
